i ran into this and it pissed me off.

dell powedge r710s, r720s, r730s, r610s, 420s, 330s, c4130s… the list goes on and on.. do not include pcie nvme adapter booting. why? i dont fucking know.

googling led me to some overly complex solutions and that further pissed me off.

why do people need to overcomplicate shit. fuck.

ok. ready? heres what you do

go to https://github.com/cloverhackycolor/Cloverbootloader

on the right hand side look for and click releases

download the latest release iso under the assets part of the release

unzip and burn it to a thumbdrive using iso

go into the thumbdrive

go into the efi/clover/drivers/off folder

copy the nvmexpressdxe.efi file

paste it into efi/clover/drivers/bios and efi/clover/drivers/uefi folders

you’re done. reboot and enjoy. grab a beer. download a qwen heretric abliterated colfusion turbo latte mocha venti q8_0 gguf. missed opportunity by the community in my opinion, ggufs should be glhf files as a throwback. but who am i?

oh, and make sure you have the os you want to use installed on your nvme.
